2. Summary
- We do not set cookies for readers and do not use third-party tracking or analytics services.
- We do not show ads from advertising networks.
- We only process the data needed to run the website, to handle advertising requests and to communicate with you.
3. Providing the website
The website is provided via Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (servers, image storage, delivery and protection against attacks). When a page is opened, technically necessary data is processed: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser details (user agent) and the previously visited page. This data is used to deliver the pages, for security and for troubleshooting. Error logs are kept only briefly.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and working service). Cloudflare processes data on our behalf. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Cloudflare is certified, and additionally on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. Counting page views
We count how often each page is viewed per day. Only the page address, the date and the number of views are stored — no IP addresses, no cookies and no user profiles. Visits by search engines and other automated programs are not counted. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (interest in knowing which content is read).
5. Database
Content and requests are stored in a database run by Supabase, Inc., USA. The servers are located in the EU (Ireland). Supabase processes data on our behalf. Where access from third countries is possible (for example for maintenance), the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply.
6. Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)
The request form on the advertising page and the login to the editorial area are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. It checks whether a human is using the form and processes the IP address and technical characteristics of the browser and device for this purpose. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (protection against abuse and spam). Where information on your device is accessed, this is strictly necessary for the service you requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).
7. Advertising requests
When you send a request on the advertising page, we process the selected package, your Telegram username and the time of your confirmation. To protect against mass requests, your IP address is stored briefly and deleted within 24 hours at the latest.
The request is automatically sent to an internal, private Telegram group of our team, and we then contact you via Telegram. Telegram also processes data outside the EU, in countries without an adequacy decision. This transfer takes place because you expressly provide your Telegram username so that we can contact you (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR).
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to and performance of a contract). Requests that do not lead to a contract are deleted once they are no longer needed. If a contract is concluded, the statutory retention periods apply, in particular under commercial and tax law.
8. Contact by email, Telegram or WhatsApp
If you write to us, we process your details to reply. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where a contract is concerned, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Telegram and WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited) also process data under their own responsibility; if you do not want this, please contact us by email.
9. Editorial area
The editorial area is accessible only to our team. We process the editors' email addresses, login codes, a change log (deleted after 7 days) and a technically necessary session cookie (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). Login codes are sent by email via Resend, Inc., USA; Resend is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
10. YouTube videos
YouTube videos are only loaded when you click “Показать видео”. No connection to YouTube is made before that. After the click, the video is loaded via youtube-nocookie.com from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; your IP address and technical data, among other things, are transmitted to Google, including to the USA. The legal basis is your consent given by the click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw it at any time by reloading the page.
11. Links to social networks
Our website contains simple links to Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and WhatsApp, including links for sharing articles. No plugins of these services are loaded. Data is only transmitted when you click a link; the privacy policy of the respective provider then applies, as it does for our profiles on these networks.
12. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).
Right to object: where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach. For any request, an email toinfo@augsburglive.com is enough.
13. Security and automated decisions
The connection to our website is encrypted using TLS. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
